A new wine bar was recently opened in a used shipping container in the heart of Manchester’s up-and-coming arts, culture, and craft community in Pollard Yard in New Islington, which has been rated as one of the top ten best places to live in the country by the Sunday Times.
I Love Manchester reports that retailer of sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural wines, Le Social is now welcoming guests into the Pollard Yard Wine Bar, between 2 pm and 10 pm every Saturday, where they can enjoy an ever-changing menu of natural wines and deli boards.
Guests can book a table for two hours to allow them to enjoy the experience at their own pace, and with limited space, booking is advised.
The wine bar resides in a converted shipping container, which has been transformed into a minimalist hideaway where visitors can explore fine wines with a variety of cultural heritage and geographical identities that each have a story to tell.
Le Social is also launching its Tasting Room at the venue, which has been designed to host wine tastings, workshops, and private functions, such as private tasting sessions and boutique event experiences for birthdays, work functions and any other celebrations.
The full calendar of events will include educational tasting nights, art exhibitions, craft workshops with other Pollard Yard residents and more to be announced.
Founder Jérôme Boullier said, “With Le Social, I want to create an alternative wine-led space which is centred on experience and inclusivity.
“The Wine Bar and Tasting Room will serve as cosy destinations where all are welcome to appreciate delicious wine with a purpose and food that will enhance the experience.”
